Overview
A typical day will involve completing eye examinations, contact lens and extended service examinations. You will work alongside our Dispensing Optician Manager to support colleagues with training, coaching and maintaining departmental standards. As part of our extended service contracts with the NHS, you will provide a wide range of care for the treatment and monitoring of eye conditions and may gain additional accreditations supported by Asda. We offer comprehensive CPD programmes, protected time for further accreditations and opportunities for GOC registered professionals to supervise students.

Qualifications & Requirements
* Fully qualified optometrist registered with the GOC.
* Registered performer with your NHS area team or health board.
* MECs or WECs accredited (or willing to gain accreditation within 12 months of joining – funded and supported by us).
* On track to meet the statutory points requirement for CPD.
* Passionate about delivering a memorable customer experience and developing new patient services.
* For Wales applicants: evidence of WECS accreditation and WGOS module accreditation.
* Evidence of Right‑to‑Work in the UK and NHS performer list for the nation of employment.
