As a Clinical Team Leader, you will be an integral part of the MDT, supporting the Ward manager in leading a dedicated team of registered and unregistered staff, developing, monitoring, and maintaining care standards through role modelling, decision-making, and clinical skills demonstration.

Ellington ward is an older adult inpatient mental health unit working closely with the adjacent ECT suite.
Job description and responsibilities

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Registered Mental Health Nurse
* Numeracy skills for medication safety
* Evidence of CPD and preceptorship completion
Experience
* Extensive experience as a Band 5 nurse in Older Adult Inpatient Mental Health Services
* Unit coordinating experience or willingness to learn
Skills
* Effective communication, record-keeping, and clinical skills including care planning, safeguarding, risk assessment, infection control, and clinical leadership.
Personal Attributes
* Role modelling, respectfulness, partnership working, and empowerment.
