A growing funds business in Guernsey is seeking an experienced and detail‑driven Onboarding Manager / Assistant Manager to join its expanding team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys owning the full client onboarding lifecycle from start to finish.
You’ll act as the central point of contact for onboarding queries, working closely with clients, intermediaries, and internal teams. Responsibilities include reviewing and approving new client applications and existing client transactions, ensuring all documentation meets regulatory and AML/CDD standards, and collaborating with Compliance, Risk, and Operations to maintain efficient workflows.
The position also involves monitoring onboarding pipelines, preparing management reporting, supporting audits and regulatory requests, and mentoring junior team members.
Candidates should bring proven experience in onboarding, AML/CDD, or compliance within financial services, alongside strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and confidence managing multiple priorities. Supervisory experience is beneficial for those targeting Manager level, and professional qualifications such as ICA or ACAMS are an advantage.
