We're looking for a HR Team Leader to join our HR Shared Services team based in Rushden. Location: Rushden – hybrid working available, with travel to the office required 1-2 days per week Hours: 37.5 hours per week – 12 Month Fixed Term Contract - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us Please note we are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role. What will you be responsible for? As a HR Team Leader you'll be working within the HR Shared Services team, supporting them in delivering a high-quality employee lifecycle service. Your day to day will include: Coordinating daily tasks and ensuring work is completed within deadlines Acting as an escalation point for complex queries and mentoring team members Supporting the Team Manager with root cause analysis and continuous improvement Monitoring performance against KPIs and producing reports to drive service enhancements Providing accurate HR/pay-related administration using Oracle HR and other systems Oversee a team of administrators, ensuring 121's, performance management, review and development conversations are carried out What are we looking for? This role of HR Team Leader is great for you if: You have experience in high-volume HR administration, ideally in a Shared Service Centre You have previous experience managing teams in a high volume HR administration environment You're confident using Microsoft Office and HR systems (Oracle HR desirable) You're organised, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure You're a strong communicator with a customer-focused approach You're enthusiastic about creating a positive team culture and supporting others We're all about finding potential here at Kier, and transferrable skills are always welcome!
