The London Borough of Enfield Integrated Mental Health Service seeks experienced Mental Health Social Workers & AMHP practitioners to fill vacancies in our fully integrated multidisciplinary Community Mental Health Team s and centralised AMHP Service. Our Community Locality Team/Home Treatment Team Mental Health Social Worker & AMHP position provides an exciting opportunity for experienced practitioners to demonstrate creativity to make a real difference in vulnerable people s lives; contribute to mental health service development transformation, and to influence and shape the practice of aspiring social workers or AMHPs and through Practice Education/AYSE Programs. The AMHP has a unique role, given that its work encompasses both practice with both children and adults; consequently, the work is varied and wide-ranging. As such, the AMHP plays a vital and essential role in safeguarding and supporting our most vulnerable residents. We seek imaginative and dynamic social work practitioners motivated to make positive contributions to the transformation of mental health social care, asserting social recovering and empowerment models, working in meaningful partnerships with service users, their carers, and families. You will make full use of person-centred assessment skills, using strengths-based and enabling principals, demonstrate coordination and planning skills with a focus on prevention, recovery, wellbeing, and dignity outcomes. Enfield prides itself on having a supportive work culture with good working relationships with North London Partnership - Barnet, Enfield, Haringey, Camden & Islington Foundation Mental Health Trust, and stable management team that gives social workers the autonomy they need to deliver a first-class service to vulnerable children, adults and their families. If you are looking for an interesting challenge working within an integrated MDT setting, and looking for a rewarding position with good professional peer support/professional and clinical supervision, or just looking to influence and shape social work and AMHP practice; then this could be it? Enfield is a beacon council in independent living for people with disabilities and is fully committed to the personalisation agenda in mental health. We offer a supportive learning environment through individual and group supervision, with excellent professional development and training opportunities. Employed by Enfield Local Authority and seconded to Barnet, Enfield & Haringey NHS Mental Health Trust, you will benefit from positive practical working partnerships between the two organisations. Enfield is situated in North London and is a culturally diverse borough with its wards covering amongst 20% most affluent and deprived in the country, whilst featuring industrial, residential, and countryside areas. It has good transport links into Central London and easily accessible being adjacent to the M25 and A406 with good transport links to the rest of the country. If you re looking for interesting opportunities or want to further your career; or just want to contribute to integrated multidisciplinary working for the wellbeing of service users with mental health; and can work with professional autonomy as an AMHP. If you re motivated, and enthusiastic over personalised services, then we would like to hear from you; we could be your next step?
