Overview
Are you an experienced Logistics Planner with freight forwarding experience with a passion for precision, compliance, and international logistics? We are currently seeking a Logistics Planner to take ownership of end-to-end shipment coordination – with a key focus on hazardous goods such as chemicals, explosives, and munitions.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan and coordinate multi-modal transport (road, sea, air, rail) for both domestic and international shipments.
* Design cost-effective, compliant transport solutions with a strong focus on timing, safety, and efficiency.
* Ensure full visibility of shipments through tracking, communication, and proactive problem-solving.
* Prepare and verify essential documentation including Bills of Lading, Dangerous Goods Declarations, and customs paperwork.
* Ensure full compliance with UK and international export control laws, including HMRC and DIT regulations.
* Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, government bodies, and customers to deliver a seamless logistics service.
* Develop and maintain pricing models, negotiate contracts, and prepare accurate quotations.
About You
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong numerical and analytical abilities
* Experience within Logistics Planning, specifically Freight Forwarding
* Strong knowledge of import/export procedures and customs compliance.
