This Accounts/Bookkeeper position combines hands‑on bookkeeping with broader financial responsibilities across a varied client portfolio. It is ideal for candidates with advanced knowledge of accounts as well as those ready to build on existing foundations through continued training!
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
* Managing bookkeeping for a portfolio of client accounts, including more complex or higher-volume entities.
* Performing advanced reconciliations and ledger management.
* Maintaining investment schedules and overseeing related financial postings.
* Assisting with preparation of financial information for reporting and accounts preparation.
* Supporting policy and procedure documentation for financial processes.
* Producing professional documentation and correspondence for clients.
* Ensuring complete and accurate audit trails and financial records.
* Supporting the department Manager/Director with ad hoc financial tasks.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate may have advanced bookkeeping and accounts experience and be confident managing more complex financial processes, or be a developing professional looking to receive further training and grow within the company. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work independently are essential. A proactive mindset and willingness to develop technical knowledge further will ensure success in this role.
