Manufacturing Engineer

Up to £45, - Dependant on experience
This is a great opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer to join an engineering company that is a genuine global market leader in its field. The company itself specialises in developing and producing a wide range of innovative and bespoke components.
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will focus on managing engineering projects, reviewing manufacturing processes, identify areas of continuous improvement, applying lean manufacturing techniques and resolving engineering problems.
Manufacturing Engineer Responsibilities;
1. Develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes
2. Reviewing manufacturing processes
3. Applying lean manufacturing techniques
4. Managing engineering projects from initial concept to delivery
5. Assist with building a culture of continuous improvement
6. Responsible for increasing manufacturing productivity
7. Provide technical support to the engineering departments
Manufacturing Engineer Requirements;
8. Previous experience working in either a Manufacturing Engineer, Production Engineer or a Process Engineering position
9. Experience in utilising Lean manufacturing tools and techniques
10. Knowledge of engineering systems and the ability to deploy Continuous Improvement Toolset
11. Managing manufacturing projects from initial concept to delivery
12. Knowledge of injection mould processes would be advantageous
13. Excellent communication skills are essential
14. Must be a team player
