Key responsibilities for the Senior Electronic Test Engineer based in Bedfordshire:
* Preparing equipment for customer demonstrations and field trials.
* Providing online and in-person technical support to both sales staff and customers.
* Traveling in-country and internationally (2-3 times per year) to set up equipment in aircraft, vehicles, or field environments.
* Assisting in production testing and assembly, including debugging circuit boards, integrating them into finished units, and ensuring functionality.
This role offers a balance of technical problem-solving, hands-on equipment work, and customer-facing support.
Key skills required for the Senior Electronics Test Engineer based in Bedfordshire:
* RF engineering experience (cellular preferred).
* Good knowledge of PC networking and Wi-Fi systems.
* Proficient in using lab equipment: oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers, signal generators.
* Strong PC and documentation skills for test procedures and reporting.
* Resourceful, self-reliant, and confident in problem-solving on the spot.
* Willingness to travel abroad occasionally.
