Want to join an award winning Planning Consultancy that nurtures and supports our staff as well as providing outstanding results for our clients?
Our graduate programme provides you with the training, experience and support you need to build a fulfilling career in planning and development, whether in our Planning, Transport, Environment or Land teams.
Having won the RTPI South East Planning Team of the Year 2021 for our staff retention, progression and in-house training we are confident we can support you on your journey to become a qualified Planner within a matter or years.
"On a daily basis I am surrounded by a number of experienced professionals who excel in their planning role, which motivates me to build my own knowledge and to progress my career." Rebecca Tilley
Our approach is to allow graduates to gain experience across various facets of planning and development, it's not uncommon for individuals entering the field to discover new passions or areas of interest once they gain hands-on experience. Our commitment to molding roles around the strengths of our team members shows our dedication to employee growth and satisfaction. This has led us to be able to retain the highest calibre professionals which is why over 50% of our senior work force joined DHA as a graduate and have been promoted to Associate, Associate Director or Director positions.
The opportunity for rotations within the company is invaluable. It not only allows graduates to explore different areas but also helps in finding the best fit. This approach is a great way to ensure that individuals find their niche within the organization, leading to greater job satisfaction and potentially long-term commitment.
Moreover, the breadth of projects across different industries—housebuilders, utilities, private landowners, schools, and local councils—offers a diverse and enriching experience. It provides a comprehensive understanding of the various aspects and stakeholders involved in planning and development.
"One of the best things of working at DHA is the number of younger people in the office, with a highly sociable atmosphere. In particular, there is a strong bond and sense of cohesion amongst the grads." Oliver Ricketts
