We are seeking to hire a Shift Maintenance Engineer to join the team in the Baglan Plant, reporting to the plant Reliability Manager

What is expected of you:

3. Set a great example for everyone by maintaining the highest standards of operational discipline, through mentoring operators, cleaning inspection and lubrication activities, and proactively improve the machines to eliminate contamination sources.
4. Maintain and repair equipment within a GMP cleanroom manufacturing facility.
5. Work with and support T1s and T2s in order to achieve production targets with good quality finished products.
6. Manage small installation projects and work efficiently with the Reliability Manager to ensure projects are completed within set timeframe.

What you will do:

7. Comply with all SHE and Quality standards set at site
8. Proactively addressing breakdowns that can occur on shift
9. Ensure that quality finished product is being produced by completing PPMs on equipment
10. Manage workload and prioritise work using CMMS system
11. Support key functions to achieve production targets
12. Problem solving and implementing improvements via breakdown analysis
13. Active participation of TPM activities and key member of PM pillar
14. Adhere to all procedures in place and show discipline with hygiene and cleanroom standards
15. Maintain site housekeeping and 5S standards
16. Understanding of the importance process safety and regulatory compliance
17. Rotation shifts (Mornings 06:00-14:00, Afternoons 14:00-22:00 & Nights 22:00-06:00).

Minimum Qualifications:

18. Accredited apprenticeship in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
19. Demonstrate a good technical understanding of Electrical and Mechanical principles.
20. Minimum 10 years experience
21. Good understanding of the principles of TPM an advantage.
22. No immigration sponsorship available for this position.
