Senior Occupational Therapist role at Witherslack Group
Location: Luxborough Court School. Luxborough Court School is a brand-new, purpose-built school registered for 150 pupils aged 5-19 with autism. The school benefits from extensive outdoor space, a large central courtyard garden, a sports hall, a bespoke sixth form suite, and other spaces used for therapeutic intervention and bespoke support.
Salary: £53,603 - £61,533 (including paid school holidays) + excellent benefits

Responsibilities
* Work as part of a multi-disciplinary clinical team to support educational and residential colleagues in providing therapeutic living and learning environments
* Offer individualised interventions and engagement to young people based on clinical assessment and formulation
* Provide consultation, workshops, training and guidance to educational and residential teams
* Ensure therapeutic approaches permeate all aspects of education, care and support for children and young people
Qualifications
* Be a qualified Occupational Therapist registered with the HCPC
* Be skilled in delivering therapeutic interventions for children and young people with complex needs
* Experience supporting teams around a child or young person to ensure clinically informed environments and experiences
* Be a confident, engaging and effective leader, trainer and role model
* Be highly organised and proactive
* Be committed to achieving the best outcomes for young people
* Be a member of a multi-disciplinary team with regular supervision and CPD support
* Extensive sector experience and a background in team supervision
* Valid driver’s license; some travel involved
