Role: Protection & Control Design Engineer

We're looking for a Protection & Control (P&C) Design Engineer who will support our high-voltage engineering team and contribute to the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of our clients' electrical networks.
Role Responsibilities
* Design, specification, and configuration of protection and control systems for HV and EHV substations.
* Ensure adherence to protection philosophies and project requirements.
* Check and approve design deliverables from internal teams and manufacturers.
* Produce technical documents, reports, settings, and specifications.
* Lead development of P&C schemes up to 400 kV including SLDs, wiring diagrams, logic diagrams, and schedules.
Required Qualifications
* Degree, HND, or HNC in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems preferred).
* Demonstrable experience designing HV/EHV protection systems (11 kV-400 kV).
* Experience with numerical relays (Siemens, GE, ABB, SEL).
* Knowledge of IEC 61850, CT/VT characteristics, and SCADA systems.
* Familiarity with ENA, IEC, and DNO/TSO standards.
