The successful candidate will provide effective and efficient administrative support for ARC Scotland’s operations, including SVQ provision, training administration, and office systems support. Responsibilities
* Process applications from training candidates.
* Register candidate applications onto the ePortfolio platform.
* Review candidate induction paperwork and follow up as required.
* Process candidate completions and withdrawals and ensure records are updated.
* Circulate evaluations to candidates and record feedback.
* Support marketing and communications: respond to enquiries by email and telephone, assist with marketing and sales of training products, and promote the training department via social media and website.
* Support the maintenance of office systems, protocols and procedures: maintain office systems for ARC Scotland Training, assist with inspection and monitoring preparation, produce monthly/quarterly evaluation and monitoring reports, implement new office systems, and ensure Assessment Centre Policies and Procedures are updated.
* Other: deputise for the Administrator in their absence, contribute to team planning and development, maintain office supplies, perform general administrative duties (photocopying, filing, posting, courier arrangements), and undertake other duties as needed in a small charity.
Person Specification
* Essential: Proven administrative and office experience.
* Essential: Computer literate with experience of Microsoft 365 or willingness to learn.
* Essential: Experience of working independently and demonstrating initiative.
* Essential: Experience of communicating and engaging professionally with people at different levels.
* Essential: Capacity to prioritise workload, adapt and multitask.
* Essential: Willingness to develop professional competence through training and development.
* Note: The successful candidate will be required to attend an in-person induction period at ARC Scotland offices in Eskbank.
* Desirable: Understanding of SVQ Regulated Qualifications for Health & Social Care sector.
* Desirable: Experience in an SQA assessment centre.
* Desirable: Aptitude for new IT applications, experience of using Microsoft Forms, ability to commute.
