The Role: They are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Tax Manager to join their team. This is a unique opportunity for someone with strong tax compliance experience aiming for fast-track career progression, including a clear path to becoming a Partner with equity. You will manage a team, handle a portfolio of clients, and provide tax compliance and advisory services, working closely with clients independently.
What you will do:
1. Tax Compliance Management: Oversee tax compliance for a diverse range of clients, ensuring filings are accurate and timely.
2. Client Advisory: Provide high-quality tax advisory services, offering guidance on tax planning and efficiency. Experience in giving tax advice is preferred but not essential.
3. Team Leadership: Manage and lead a team, providing training, mentorship, and development opportunities.
4. Client Management: Meet with clients independently to discuss their tax needs, offering tailored solutions and building long-term relationships.
5. Billing & Profitability: Manage billing for clients, ensuring accurate invoicing and maintaining profitability for the firm.
What you will have:
* Qualifications: ACA/ACCA qualified, with a view to completing CTA or CTA already completed.
* Experience: Strong tax compliance experience is essential. Some experience in providing tax advice is preferred. A background in accountancy is desirable. Experience working with RoI tax matters is advantageous.
* Skills: Proven ability to manage a team effectively. Excellent communication and client-facing skills. Strong organizational skills and experience managing billing processes. Desire to succeed and grow.
