Commercial Gas Engineer
Our Client; Commercial Gas Engineer required for our client, they are a Commercial Heating Contractor based in Leeds. They specialise in industrial and commercial gas, mechanical, and electrical services, offering a full suit of plant room re‑fit, service, and repair works. The Commercial Gas Engineer will travel throughout the East Lothian, West Lothian, and Edinburgh and will attend commercial breakdown, repair and service work.
Key Responsibilities
* Service, repair, and maintain gas appliances and systems in commercial properties such as supermarkets, offices, hotels, apartment blocks, sports stadiums, and universities
* Identify and diagnose problems with gas appliances and systems
* Replace or repair gas appliances and systems as needed
* Perform regular maintenance on gas appliances and systems to ensure they are operating safely and efficiently
* Assist with installation projects
* Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients
Requirements
* NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in plumbing and heating
* ACS Commercial Gas Tickets
* Based within a commutable distance of East Lothian, West Lothian, and Edinburgh
* Full UK Driving License
Remuneration
* Salary £45,000 - £50,000
* Travel pay - after 15 minutes
* Overtime available
* Call out 1 in 7/8 (£180 for standby)
