We are looking for a committed professional to provide proactive and efficient administrative support to the Shared Services team, providing transactional and administrative support to the business across all key end to end People processes covering all elements of the employee life cycle. Acting as the first point of contact for all people queries and requests for administrative action or transactional activity across the business. ? Support the processing of key work activities, including: ? job offers, internal transfers and leavers ? references and DBS checks ? letters, reports, photocopying, scanning and filing ? keeping employee records up to date ? processing subject access requests ? administration of occupational health referrals ? HR system records ? Administration of reward and benefit processes ? Co-ordinating the People Services email inboxes ? Supporting line managers with note taking in investigation, discipline, grievance and appeal hearings to ensure they are conducted in line with policy and legislation and attended to in a timely manner. ? Supporting the People Support Team with key people projects and initiatives as required. ? Ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures, including Data Privacy. The role is for you if ? Ability to analyse and evaluate data/information and use this to suggest improvements. ? Excellent planning and organisation skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities. ? Ability to work independently and use own initiative. ? Strong verbal & written communication. ? Ability to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders. ? Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to be successful in a changing environment. ? Highly accurate and have attention to detail. ? Ability to work under pressure and have good time management skills. Experience / Qualifications ? Work experience as an administrator or relevant role preferred, but not essential ? Experience with HR software preferred, but not essential ? Computer literacy (Google Workplace in particular) ? Basic understanding of HR policies and processes
