We have several exciting vacancies for talented Project Managers to join our teams across the UK in our expanding Water Infrastructure market.
These roles offer excellent opportunities for career-driven individuals who want to take the next step in their career and be responsible for design projects from inception through to completion. Positions are likely to combine agile working from one of our hub offices, with some time spent at client offices.
As a practicing Project Manager with project delivery experience, ideally within a consultancy environment, you will be responsible for delivering schemes to budget and programme, working with the support of the PDP team, and being the first point of contact with clients.
Your Responsibilities
* Delivery of project management and contract administration through the project lifecycle.
* Ensure a common understanding of requirements and scope, programme, costs, constraints, risk, and interfaces across the team.
* Manage day-to-day client relationships.
* Deliver governance arrangements within business policies and procedures to ensure robust outcomes. Manage projects within agreed budgets.
* Negotiate and administer change control in accordance with the contract. Manage risks throughout the project.
* Monitor and report project performance against programme, technical quality, financial, and KPI targets.
* Build, motivate, guide, and develop project teams as a project leader.
* Deliver projects in accordance with AtkinsRéalis Values: Safety, Integrity, Collaboration, Innovation, and Excellence.
Qualifications and Experience
* An Engineering background with design management, project management, and contract administration experience.
* Experience in a Project Management role.
* Experience in the water industry is preferable but not essential.
* Experience working with Contractor organizations, ideally in a Design & Build environment, and familiarity with various construction contracts, especially NEC3 or 4.
* Experience managing design projects or assisting in project management from inception to completion.
* Experience working with multi-disciplinary design teams.
* Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
* A proactive, flexible working attitude, adaptable, and positive response to challenges.
