To be an efficient and flexible member of the Histopathology laboratory team providing a high quality diagnostic service through supporting the scientific and technical activities of qualified members of staff.
To work within the written Policies and Procedures of the Department especially in relation to Health & Safety and Quality, and to participate in the routine duties of the Histopathology Department as part of a team, under the direction and supervision of Medical Laboratory Assistants ensuring compliance with Departmental Policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
