Aspire People is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a warm and welcoming primary school in Solihull. This is a long-term opportunity to work closely with pupils with Special Educational Needs, helping them to access learning and achieve their full potential.
🧩 The Role:
Supporting pupils with a range of SEN including autism, ADHD, and speech & language difficulties.
Working 1:1 or in small groups under the direction of the class teacher and SENCO.
Implementing tailored learning plans and providing emotional and academic support.
Promoting inclusion and creating a safe, positive learning environment.
✅ What We're Looking For:
Previous experience working with children with SEN (in a school or care setting).
A patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is desirable.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one through us).
