Working as a Subsidy Officer within the Customer Engagement Directorate, you will play a fundamental role in producing, implementing and reviewing a robust subsidy strategy. Your role will include the following: Assisting delivery of a professional, high-quality service Regular production of statistical data relating to performance and expenditure Reviewing Housing Benefit case histories to ensure accuracy and subsidy maximisation Facilitating internal and external audit utilising specialise knowledge The successful candidate will be motivated and detail-oriented, supporting the Finance Team Leader with the Housing Benefit subsidy grant claim and contributing to continuous service improvement. W e are looking for an empathetic, flexible, pro-active individual who has an excellent knowledge of/ability to interpret Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support legislation.
