Waking Night Support Worker - Children's Residential Home
Location: Near Folkestone
Hours: 40 hours per week (Full-Time, Permanent)

We are recruiting for a compassionate and reliable Waking Night Support Worker to join a well-established and highly regarded children's residential home near Folkestone. The home supports children and young people with learning disabilities, providing a safe, nurturing, and homely environment where they can thrive.

The Role
As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of children and young people throughout the night.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing attentive overnight supervision and support
Promoting a calm, safe, and structured environment
Completing regular welfare checks and accurate night reports
Responding appropriately to any incidents or needs that arise
Following safeguarding, fire, and health & safety procedures at all times
Attending training, supervisions, and team meetings as required
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
Caring, patient, and resilient
Calm under pressure with a proactive approach
Passionate about supporting children and young people
Committed to maintaining high standards of care and professionalism
Experience within a children's residential setting is desirable but not essential. Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
You must be willing to work towards a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (if not already qualified).
