James Ray Recruitment are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant on a long-term supply basis to work within a secondary school based in Manchester. We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work in partnership with class teachers to support students’ learning. The successful candidates should have experience of working with children in a school; the ability to encourage, motivate and support students to overcome barriers to learning; having high expectations of student achievement whilst enabling students to become independent learners and develop positive behaviours.
This is a full-time position covering on a long-term basis for the remainder of the academic year. The proposed start as soon as possible. The school requires you to hold a Teaching Assistant qualification, at level 2 or level 3.
Who is the ideal candidate?

Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification, at level 2 or level 3

Relevant experience working with young people aged 11-18 years

Enthusiastic and ability to adapt to difficult situations

Calm, resilient and able to communicate well with young people

Confident in your behaviour management skills
