Our Temporary Staffing Team supports the joint venture People Services function for Derbyshire Community Health Service and Derbyshire Healthcare Foundation Trust.
You can choose to be based at either Kingsway Hospital, Derby, or Walton Hospital, Chesterfield, with the option to work from home to support work/life balance.
Main duties of the job
We are seeking a positive, proactive, and professional administrator to join our team. If you possess excellent interpersonal skills, are a good communicator, and have a strong desire to support our clinical teams, this role could be ideal for you.
You will collaborate with various stakeholders across both Trusts to understand their temporary staffing needs and support them in delivering safe, effective patient care.
You will utilize computerised systems such as the NHS Electronic Staff Record and Allocate packages to manage staffing and adjust your workload as needed.
You will provide outstanding customer service, handling all email and telephone inquiries promptly and appropriately.

Person Specification
Essential:
* Educated to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent, or proven relevant experience
* Strong IT skills: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
* Experience in an administrative environment and using computerized data systems
* Teamwork experience
* Excellent organizational skills
* Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
* Effective communication skills at all levels
Desirable:
* Knowledge of standard HR procedures
Communication Skills:
* Clear communication, accurate writing, data entry, and telephone skills
