Personal Injury / Credit Hire Litigator
Location: Ellesmere Port
Contract Up to £50,000 per annum (DOE) + Bonus
A well-established specialist litigation firm based in Ellesmere Port is seeking an experienced Personal Injury / Credit Hire Litigator to join its expanding team.
The firm specialises in Personal Injury, Road Traffic Accident, and Credit Hire litigation and is continuing to grow due to ongoing success and increased workload. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and supportive team handling a varied and challenging caseload.
The Role
You will manage a mixed caseload of Personal Injury and Credit Hire claims, handling matters from inception through to conclusion, including both pre- and post-litigated files.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing a caseload of RTA and Credit Hire matters
* Handling pre- and post-litigated claims independently
* Progressing matters through the MOJ Portal and litigation process
* Drafting legal documents and preparing files for hearings and settlement
* Delivering high standards of client care and regular updates
* Working towards billing and performance targets
* Liaising with clients, insurers, counsel, and third parties
* Supporting junior team members where appropriate
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in RTA and/or Credit Hire litigation
* Qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive, or experienced Litigator
* Experience managing claims from inception to conclusion
* Strong understanding of CPR and litigation procedures
* Experience with MOJ Portal xsngvjr and Fast Track litigation
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Ability to manage a busy caseload independently
* Strong IT and case management skills
