Job Description

Associate Medical Writers: Fuel, IPG Health Medical Communications

Do you love science and have a passion for clear communication? As an Associate Medical Writer, you’ll be able to combine these talents and make a difference to the healthcare community.

What is Medical Writing?

Medical Writers work with experts in the healthcare community to produce materials that clearly convey complex science in an accurate and audience-appropriate way. Our work is varied, ranging from scientific publications to medical meetings to animations for online materials – no two projects are ever the same, which makes our work exciting and fulfilling.

What is Fuel?

Fuel (Future Experts and Leaders) is our well-established, entry-level training and development program for talented people at the beginning of their journey in Medical Communications. The Fuel program combines dedicated training and ‘on-the-job’ development within an innovative, nurturing and open-minded community. You will join alongside a group of like-minded individuals, all in the same phase of your careers, building your network, and embedding our supportive culture.

Why choose Fuel?

We believe everyone can become an expert, a leader in their field – our promise is to provide you with the skills, confidence and experience you need to fulfil that potential. Our dedicated trainers work alongside our talented, client-facing teams to harness and develop your talents. For more information on Fuel, visit our Linktree:@IPGHMCFuel | Linktree

What qualifications do I need?

We are looking for people with a passion for science. You must have a minimum of a 2:1 in a life sciences degree. We do not require previous experience in the industry, as we provide all the necessary training. A natural aptitude for writing is important, as is the ability to work in a diverse team and fast-paced environment.

Fuel isn’t just for recent graduates; we have successfully recruited and developed people from a range of backgrounds, so if you’re looking for a change, we want to hear from you!
