We are looking for talented, experienced, electrically biased Research and Development Engineers to join the business on a permanent basis to help drive innovation, continue to support a growing business and be part of a collaborative culture.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Successful candidates will be expected to work and support in a variety of engineering-based roles, including:
1. Design, implementation, testing, and analysis of electrical, mechanical and communication systems
2. Production of relevant documentation, including drawings, PIDs, bills of materials, standard operating procedures, risk assessments / method statements, technical reports
3. Contribute to the design and development of relevant company processes, structures and systems and help support the introduction of these into the business
REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE
Data acquisition, analysis, and technical reporting
Technical HPU Field Service support, including remote operations
Technical HPU Manufacturing support
REQUISITE SKILLS
Candidates must demonstrate a passion for zero emission / renewable energy.
Candidates must be Degree qualified within Engineering, Physics or Mathematics (required standard: 1st class degree (desirable), PhD, or equivalent).
Open to electrical, mechanical and controls background.
Experience with Autodesk products is highly desirable (AutoCAD, Electrical, Inventor).
Candidates must demonstrate both a strong theoretical and practical working background as this is a pre-requisite of the role. The working split will be determined by candidates’ ability and willingness to work across these areas.
Ability to self-lead R&D work with a strong record of leading own projects.
The role requires candidates who are excited by the opportunity to develop and design processes, structures and systems and help support the introduction of these into the business.
