Commercial Property Solicitor Senior Associate or Partner Level | L500 North London A highly regarded and expanding North London law firm is looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to join its established team. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior lawyer seeking a clear route to partnership, or for an existing Partner looking to join a progressive firm where they can play a key role in shaping the department’s continued growth.You will be working closely alongside a highly regarded Partner and Head of Department who has an excellent reputation in the market. This provides outstanding exposure to high quality work, strategic input into the department, and the autonomy to develop your own practice while benefiting from strong leadership and support. With continued growth in its commercial property work, the firm is keen to welcome a confident and commercially minded solicitor who is ready to take on a senior role with genuine long term prospects.The Role This position focuses purely on commercial property matters and offers the opportunity to manage a varied and high quality caseload while contributing to the strategic development of the department. You will handle a broad range of commercial property transactions while building strong relationships with clients and professional contacts. Responsibilities include: Managing a varied commercial property caseload including acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant matters, leases, development work and secured lending. Advising clients including investors, developers, landlords and commercial occupiers. Working closely with the Head of Department on complex and high value matters while maintaining autonomy over your own caseload. Collaborating with colleagues across the firm, particularly where commercial property matters intersect with corporate transactions. Experience or exposure to corporate work would be highly advantageous. Building and maintaining strong client relationships and providing clear, commercially focused advice. Supporting the growth of the commercial property department through networking, relationship building and business development activities. Maintaining excellent standards of client care and ensuring compliance with the firm’s procedures and regulatory obligations.About You The firm is open to experienced Commercial Property Solicitors who are either operating at Senior Associate level and ready to step up to partnership, or existing Partners looking for a new platform. You will demonstrate: Strong technical experience in commercial property law. The ability to manage your own caseload with confidence and attention to detail. Excellent communication and relationship building skills. A proactive and commercially minded approach. An interest in working alongside corporate colleagues and supporting property aspects of corporate transactions. Previous corporate exposure would be beneficial.
