CNC Programmer/Setter Operator (Citizen & Miyano )

Due to business expansion our client is looking for a permanent CNC Programmer setter, someone who has experience in Citizen and Miyano. You will be working in a fast paced environment for a leading engineering company in Olbury

Key Responsibilities

As CNC Setter Operator, you will:

* Set and operate Citizen Sliding Head & Fixed Head CNC lathes (L20s, L32s – including LFV)
* Set and operate Miyano Fixed Head CNC lathes with Fanuc controls
* Program CNC machines for new jobs using existing G-code templates
* Change tips, drills, tools, and inserts to maintain machine performance
* Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
* Perform first-off inspections and measure parts using vernier calipers, micrometres,
* Follow production job card system and maintain production documentation
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient workflow

Key Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will have:
? Proven experience as a CNC Programmer/Setter, CNC Operator, or Sliding Head Setter
