IO Associates are partnered with a Software Development Consultancy routed in the Public Sector, who are looking for a hands-on SC Cleared Azure Support Engineer to support enterprise IT systems across on-prem, private, and public cloud platforms. Role : SC Cleared Azure Support Engineer Location : Remote Salary : Up to £55,000 per annum Start Date : ASAP What you'll do: Resolve incidents and major incidents within SLA. Investigate root causes and implement permanent fixes or workarounds. Support enterprise IT services, ensuring availability, security, and integrity. Collaborate with project teams to transition new services into support. Maintain clear documentation and knowledge articles. Liaise with internal teams and third-party providers. Occasionally perform on-site tasks such as hardware swaps or patching. What you'll bring: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, Entra ID). Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Bicep). Windows Server (2012 R2-2022), Active Directory (multi-forest/domain). Office 365 setup and administration. Virtualisation (VMware, Hyper-V). SAN and clustering technologies (Dell, HP). Exposure to SQL troubleshooting and Microsoft System Center (SCOM). This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a varied, hands-on role, solving complex issues across diverse technologies. This will be a remote-first role with very occasional travel to London, Leeds or Bristol and will be paying up to £55,000 per annum with additional pay for being involved in an on-call rota.
