We are part of a large integrated drug and alcohol service working with some of Cornwall's most excluded and disadvantaged people. Successful candidates will work as part of the clinical team, alongside in-house services including outreach, hospital, adult community, and criminal justice.

If you are a first-level Registered Nurse or a Registered Pharmacist who thrives in a community setting, assessing and supporting healthcare issues, this could be the role for you.
This is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week) based in the Liskeard Service.
Key Responsibilities
We will support you with an induction and ongoing supervision and CPD. Your responsibilities will include:
* Staying up-to-date with developments in treatments you prescribe
* Developing, implementing, and evaluating interventions such as harm reduction, support and advice on substance misuse, detoxification, vaccination, and blood testing programs
* Reaching out to communities to offer proactive support and education
Essential Skills
We welcome applications from prescribers passionate about working with our client group. Full training and induction will be provided. Qualifications and Experience
* Registered General Nurse, Mental Health Nurse, or Pharmacist (GPhC)
* Completed the supplementary/independent prescriber course and registered with NMC or GPhC
* Prescribing experience
* Evidence of continuous professional development
* Experience of delivering nursing interventions in community settings
* Healthcare assessments, care planning, and key working experience
* Experience working within a multidisciplinary team and collaborating with external agencies
* Knowledge of substance misuse and its health impacts
