Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Drainage CCTV Survey Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and surveying drainage systems using specialised CCTV equipment, ensuring accurate diagnostics and reporting. Responsibilities
* Operate CCTV surveying equipment to inspect drainage systems in various environments, including commercial and residential sites.
* Conduct thorough surveys, capturing detailed footage and data for analysis.
* Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of drainage infrastructure using hand tools, power tools, and welding techniques as required.
* Perform minor plumbing tasks and utilise carpentry or assembly skills when necessary for site modifications or repairs.
* Conduct heavy lifting of equipment and materials safely during survey operations.
* Maintain accurate records of survey findings, including photographs, videos, and written reports.
* Follow health and safety protocols at all times, including the safe use of tools and machinery.
* Assist in the setup and breakdown of survey equipment at various sites.
* Drive company vehicles as authorised, adhering to all commercial driving regulations.
Requirements
* Proven experience or training in welding, plumbing, carpentry, or mechanical work is highly desirable.
* Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and assembly processes.
* Knowledge of mechanical systems and basic maths for measurements and calculations.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
* Valid driving licence suitable for operating commercial vehicles.
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in recording survey data.
* Physical fitness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and to undertake manual tasks requiring stamina.
* Good communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients.
* Willingness to learn new skills related to drainage inspection technology and site safety procedures.
