DP World is looking for a hands-on Warehouse Trainer to join our Hinckley site. This is a practical, operational role where you’ll support new starters, deliver essential training, and help maintain a safe and efficient workplace. You’ll work closely with the Training and Operational Support Manager and be the go-to person for our people when they need guidance or support.
Please note: Shift: PM shift, 12:00pm – 8:30pm (some flexibility occasionally)
About the role:
• Deliver site inductions and first-stage training for new employees, including buddying them through warehouse processes.
• Guide employees on all activities and standard operating procedures, staying with them until they’re confident in the role.
• Conduct mandatory training such as manual handling, etc.
• Observe and revisit employees to check understanding and ensure safety and compliance.
• Help create and maintain clear working instructions and assist with Lean activities.
• Be a visible and approachable point of contact for training and development queries.
Your Key Skills:
• Hands-on warehouse experience, ideally with experience in training or supervising new starters.
• Comfortable delivering inductions, buddying, and coaching employees.
• Knowledge of health and safety practices and mandatory compliance training (manual handling, working at heights, .
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner.
• Comfortable using IT to record training progress.
