Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Recruitment Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent for various positions within our organization. You will work closely with hiring managers to understand their needs and develop effective recruitment strategies. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, a solid understanding of talent management, and the ability to build relationships with candidates and clients alike.
Duties
* Conduct thorough HR sourcing to identify potential candidates through various channels including social media, job boards, and networking events.
* Manage the end-to-end recruitment process including screening resumes, conducting interviews, and facilitating candidate assessments.
* Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) such as Lever, Workday, or iCIMS to maintain accurate records of candidate interactions and progress.
* Collaborate with hiring managers to develop job descriptions and recruitment strategies tailored to specific roles.
* Engage in executive recruiting and campus recruitment initiatives to attract high-caliber talent.
* Conduct cold calling and lead generation activities to expand the candidate pool.
* Provide guidance on employment & labor law to ensure compliance throughout the hiring process.
* Facilitate employee orientation and training & development programs for new hires.
* Evaluate employee performance and assist in succession planning efforts within the organization.
* Foster strong relationships with candidates through effective communication skills and relationship management.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in recruiting or human resources with a focus on technical recruiting preferred.
* Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Familiarity with HRIS systems such as Paychex, Kronos, UltiPro, or Taleo is advantageous.
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written; ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
* Experience in employee relations, contracts management, and employee evaluation processes is a plus.
* Proficiency in social media management for recruitment purposes; experience using Salesforce or similar CRM tools is beneficial.
* A proactive approach to research and staying updated on industry trends related to talent acquisition.
