 
        
        Mattishall Ward is looking to recruit Healthcare Support Workers - Clinical Care to join its busy but friendly team.
Mattishall is a 38 bedded ward specializing in Endocrinology. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about helping and caring for others while working alongside the MDT. While working for us you will have the opportunity to develop skills and a career in care as well as learning about diabetes and endocrinology.
Main duties of the job
Under the direction of the registered professional, Healthcare Support Workers - Clinical Care work with all members of the multi-disciplinary team, to contribute to the provision of the highest standards of patient care delivered with dignity, respect and compassion. They are to act as a role model for other colleagues and provide support and guidance as appropriate to role. Clinically the Healthcare Support Worker - Clinical Care will be dealing with wound care, accurate documentation, be involved with nutrition, to be involved with observations and escalate as necessary, and to provide personal care amongst other things.

Person Specification
Qualifications
 * City and Guilds NVQ Level 3/ T levels/ A levels in Care/Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification or significant equivalent experience
Experience
 * Some previous experience in a nursing/Care Assistant role which can be demonstrated against the requirements of the role.

 * Able to prioritise own workload and manage time effectively
 * Able to cope with stress and challenging situations
 * Able to work well in a team
