Your New Role
We are seeking an innovative AI Software Engineer who thrives at the intersection of marketing strategy, AI, and software development. This role is 80% hands-on coding, so deep experience with AI-assisted development environments—such as Cursor, VS Code Studio, or similar tools—is essential. You’ll be expected to fully embrace and leverage tools like GitHub Copilot to accelerate the creation of cutting-edge marketing technology.
You’ll play a key role in architecting, designing, and building AI-driven microservices and applications that power our next-generation B2B marketing platform,
Cylvy. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of marketing by rapidly translating strategic requirements into intelligent, scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Vibe Coding & AI Tooling: Spend the majority of your time building and iterating using AI-first coding environments (Cursor, VS Code Studio, Copilot, etc.).
2. Solution Architecture: Design scalable, modular architectures for AI-driven marketing applications and microservices.
3. Requirements Engineering: Translate business and marketing needs into detailed technical specifications.
4. AI-Assisted Development: Rapidly prototype and develop applications using AI coding tools.
5. Integration Framework: Implement and optimise Model Context Protocol for seamless AI microservice integration.
6. DevOps Implementation: Manage deployment pipelines using Docker, Git, CI/CD, and cloud services.
7. MarTech Innovation: Research and implement AI solutions for marketing use cases like content generation, analytics, and personalisation.
8. Data Pipeline Architecture: Design robust data flows between marketing systems and AI services.
9. Technical Leadership: Provide strategic direction, mentorship, and best practices for AI implementation.
10. Documentation: Createprehensive technical documentation for systems and solutions.
11. Continuous Learning: Stay ahead of evolving AI technologies and frameworks.
Required Skills & Experience
12. 5+ years in solution architecture or software engineering, with strong proficiency in modern programming languages (Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Go).
13. Proven experience with AI-assisted development tools (, GitHub Copilot, Amazon CodeWhisperer) and integrating large language models (LLMs) and AI APIs.
14. Deep understanding of microservices architecture, Model Context Protocol, API design, and cloud platforms (GCP, Azure).
15. Skilled in containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), version control (Git, BitBucket), and CI/CD pipelines.
16. Strong foundation in software design patterns, data structures, algorithms, and database technologies (SQL, NoSQL, vector databases).
Preferred Qualifications
17. Experience in MarTech, AdTech, or B2B marketing technology, with a background in marketing data and analytics platforms.
18. Familiarity with prompt engineering, LLM optimisation, and designing data processing pipelines (ETL).
19. Agile development experience (Scrum, Kanban) and a track record of integrating AI into business applications.
