Year 5/6 Teacher – LS26 – Start After Easter
We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 5/6 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in the LS26 area after the Easter break. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated teacher who is enthusiastic about supporting pupils in Upper Key Stage 2 and helping them prepare for the transition to secondary school.
Location: LS26
Start Date: After the Easter break
Pay: £130 – £200 per day (depending on experience)
The Role:
* Deliver engaging and effective lessons to a Year 5/6 class
* Plan, prepare and assess work in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
* Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
* Prepare Year 6 pupils for SATs and the transition to secondary school
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
* Work collaboratively with support staff and the wider school team
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5 or Year 6
* Strong classroom management and organisational skills
* A passion for helping pupils achieve their full potential
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
This role would suit both experienced teachers and confident ECTs who are looking to develop their experience in Upper Key Stage 2.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
