Were looking for a Deputy Manager to join a specialist childrens home in Middlesex that supports young people with Learning Disabilities. Youll play a key role in supporting the Registered Manager, leading staff, and ensuring the delivery of safe, nurturing, and high-quality care. Salary & Benefits

£40,000 depending on experience

What Youll Be Doing
Supporting the Registered Manager in the day-to-day operations of the home
Leading, mentoring, and supervising staff to ensure consistent, therapeutic care
Acting as a safeguarding lead, promoting a safe and compliant culture
Overseeing rotas, shift cover, and staff performance management
Supporting children and young people in their development, independence, and well-being
Taking responsibility for the home in the absence of the Manager
Ensuring compliance with Childrens Homes Regulations and Ofsted standards
What Were Looking For
At least 2 years experience in a childrens residential home
Previous supervisory or leadership experience in residential childcare
Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care with Children & Young People (or equivalent)
Strong understanding of safeguarding, Learning Disabilities, and regulatory compliance
Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills
A full UK Driving Licence
Experience using Clearcare Solutions is desirable
Working Hours & Rota
This is a 40-hour per week role with a varied rota including early, late, long days, and some weekends: Week 1: Mon & Tue 9am4pm | Wed & Thu 7:30am8:30pm (40 hrs)
Week 2: Mon 7:30am8:30pm | Tue 9am4pm | Wed 7:30am8:30pm | Thu 9am4pm (40 hrs)
Week 3: Mon 9am4pm | Tue & Wed 7:30am8:30pm | Fri & Sat 9am3pm (40 hrs)
Week 4: Mon 9am3pm | Tue & Wed 7:30am8:30pm | Fri & Sat 9am3pm (40 hrs)
