Your new companyYou'll be joining a well-established social housing contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality maintenance and repair services across Worcestershire. The organisation is committed to providing safe, well-maintained homes for residents and prides itself on excellent customer service and reliable workmanship. Your new roleAs a Multi-Trade Operative, you'll carry out a variety of maintenance and repair tasks across occupied and void social housing properties. Typical duties may include carpentry, plumbing, basic plastering, painting, tiling, and general property repairs. This is a temporary contract offering up to £25.00 per hour, working independently across the Worcestershire area. You'll be expected to manage your own workload, attend scheduled appointments, and ensure all work is completed to a high standard.What you'll need to succeed
* Proven experience as a multi-trade or maintenance operative, ideally within social housing
* Strong skills in at least one core trade, with the ability to carry out additional minor works across others
* Own van and tools
* NVQs or City & Guilds qualifications in a relevant trade (beneficial but not essential)
* A professional approach, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently
* A full UK driving licence
