Playground Games is looking for an IT Support Engineer to join our IT team on a contract basis. About The Role As a Contract IT Support Engineer, you will work onsite alongside our current engineering team to deliver comprehensive desktop IT support to end users. In this fast-paced and dynamic environment, professionalism, enthusiasm, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to ongoing learning are integral to success in the role. This is a contract role, based full-time on-site across our three state-of-the-art facilities in Royal Leamington Spa. Relocation assistance is available if required. What You’ll Do Provide all aspects of desktop IT support, including troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues. Maintain and upgrade PC hardware components, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Assist in the setup and configuration of new hardware, including desktops, laptops, and peripherals. Deliver exceptional customer service and support to all users. Document and maintain accurate records of IT support activities and hardware inventory. What You’ll Bring Previous experience in an IT support role. Outstanding knowledge of desktop hardware, including troubleshooting and upgrading PC components. Excellent verbal, written, and organisational skills. A passion for IT and videogames. IT certification or education to A-Level/BTEC Level 3 standard.
