The Role at a Glance
Content Writer (Agency)
Old Street, London – 2 days per week / Hybrid Working
£35,000 – £40,000 per annum + up to 10% bonus, health insurance, and 28 days holiday plus bank holidays
Responsibilities
As a member of the SEO & Content team, you will:
* Create and deliver high‑quality, results‑driven content and copy for a diverse portfolio of B2B and B2C clients.
* Lead website copy creation, research, and user‑centric content strategy.
* Develop and execute SEO‑driven content strategies that align with clients’ business objectives and measurable growth targets.
* Collaborate closely with internal teams and clients to ensure content meets brand voice, audience needs, and SEO best practices.
* Maintain a strong understanding of the evolving search landscape to inform content design without compromising creativity.
Qualifications
You bring:
* At least three years of agency experience as a content writer or related role.
* A portfolio demonstrating measurable traffic and lead generation outcomes.
* Excellent writing, storytelling, and storytelling instincts across varied audiences and formats.
* Strong SEO knowledge and content design skills, with the ability to balance optimisation and creativity.
* Organisational and deadline‑driven work ethic, with proven client‑relationship skills.
* Comfortable using Google Workspace, Slack; experience with Figma or Miro is a plus.
