GSL Education is currently recruiting a committed and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Primary Teacher for a long-term teaching position starting this September in a welcoming and well-resourced primary school located in Chelmsford.
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified teacher who is passionate about early education and is eager to contribute to a supportive school community. The successful candidate will be placed through GSL Education and receive continuous support throughout their assignment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum
* Assess pupil progress and maintain accurate records to inform teaching and support
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners
* Collaborate with teaching assistants, staff, and leadership teams to deliver high-quality education
* Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil progress
* Participate in staff meetings, training, and school events where appropriate
Candidate Requirements:
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Recent teaching experience within Key Stage 1
* Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks
* Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
* A proactive, flexible, and committed approach to teaching
* Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
