Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Domiciliary Manager to lead our team in providing exceptional care to our clients in their own homes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in senior care, with specific experience in assisted living, nursing homes, and home care. As a Registered Domiciliary Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality care services, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a compassionate environment for both staff and clients.
Responsibilities
* Manage and supervise the daily operations of the domiciliary care service, ensuring that all care plans are effectively implemented.
* Lead and support a team of caregivers, providing guidance and training to ensure high standards of care are maintained.
* Develop and review individual care plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each client, including those requiring dementia and Alzheimer's care.
* Ensure proper medication administration procedures are followed, maintaining accurate records for all clients.
* Conduct regular assessments of client needs and satisfaction to improve service delivery.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
* Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and organisational policies related to health and safety, safeguarding, and quality assurance.
* Foster a positive working environment that encourages teamwork, professional development, and staff retention.
Experience
* NVQ Level 5
* Full UK Driving License and access to a vehicle with business insurance
* Proven experience in a managerial role within the senior care sector, particularly in assisted living or nursing home settings.
* Strong background in nursing or healthcare management with an emphasis on dementia and Alzheimer's care.
* Demonstrable experience in developing care plans and supervising staff within a domiciliary or residential setting.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to deliver outstanding care services.
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and best practices.
* Exceptional communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, families, staff, and external professionals.
