Ysgol Penrhyn Dewi VA is a 3-16 Church in Wales school that serves the historic city of St. Davids and surrounding areas. Based in the picturesque surroundings of the Pembrokeshire National Park, the school is a caring, inclusive and welcoming environment where pupils and staff are proud of the Christian and community ethos. YPDVA has an outstanding tradition and reputation for using it’s unique environment to drive authentic learning experiences. This was evidenced in the cameo commissioned by Estyn following their Autumn 2022 Inspection. The school is a lead network school for Swansea University ITE programme. In April 2026, or sooner if possible, the school is looking to appoint a forward thinking and innovative practitioner with a proven track record of leadership. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator looking to advance their career in a successful and supportive team. Join us in shaping the future of Mathematics and Computing at our school, as we work together to align with the latest curriculum changes and create an innovative, forward-thinking learning environment where you can truly make your mark.
The ability to teach Maths throughout our all-age school up to and including GCSE is essential. Applications are most welcome and encouraged from both primary and secondary trained teachers.
