Hays is partnering with a high-profile organisation based in Essex in their search for a strategic HR Business Partner. The organisation is known for its integrity and dedication, standing out for its thoughtful approach and strong values. Following an internal promotion, this is a genuine HR business partnering role, working closely with key business areas to deliver practical, people-focused solutions. You will be part of a collaborative team of HR Business Partners, supporting around 500 employees across two main offices in Essex. Agile working is encouraged, with most colleagues spending two days a week on site.
You will bring strong HR expertise, with a proven ability to influence stakeholders and a blend of strategic and operational experience to support organisational change. They are very much customer-centric in their thinking. Your analytical mindset and collaborative approach will be key in driving initiatives such as leadership development, succession planning and strategic workforce planning. This forms part of a wider ambition to challenge the status quo, use data-driven insights to shape performance indicators and foster a high-performance culture.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading business change programmes, including TUPE transfers, and supportingplex employee relations matters. You’ll bring up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law, HR best practice, and EDI, alongside experience in job evaluation, salary benchmarking, and reward systems. Exceptionalmunication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to coach and influence senior stakeholders. Chartered MCIPD or equivalent level of experience is required.
