Teaching Personnel are proud to support vulnerable young people across Nottinghamshire, and we are currently recruiting for a dedicated Functional Skills Tutor to work on a 1:1 basis with KS3 learners. This role focuses on helping students gain confidence and progress in Functional Skills English and Maths, and may become a long-term, full-time opportunity for the right candidate. Main responsibilities include: Planning and delivering engaging Functional Skills Maths and English sessions to KS3 learners. Supporting students with a variety of learning needs, including challenging behaviour and additional barriers to education. Creating a positive, supportive and safe learning environment to promote academic and personal growth. Tracking and reporting on student progress to ensure consistent development.
