What You'll Be Doing ( CAMHS Eating Disorder Service)In this role, you will oversee the nursing team and ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care within a specialist mental health service. Drawing on your experience in either NHS or independent healthcare environments, you'll inspire a collaborative approach and maintain a safe, supportive environment for both staff and service users.
Key responsibilities include ( CAMHS Eating Disorder Service ):Providing strong clinical leadership and acting as a source of expertise in nursing care within the specialist areaLeading and guiding the team to create a cohesive and engaged workforceUpholding and enhancing care standards in line with clinical governance requirementsEnsuring effective utilisation and supervision of nursing staffPlaying an active role within the multidisciplinary team as a key clinical resourceFostering a positive learning culture that encourages staff development and wellbeingOverseeing ward operations, including staffing, supervision arrangements, and budget managementParticipating in the on-call rota alongside senior nursing colleagues
What We're Looking For (Ward Manager)Registered Nurse with current NMC registrationExperience working within a similar mental health or CAMHS environmentDemonstrable leadership ability and confidence managing teamsCompassionate, supportive, and committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred careA positive approach and passion for nurturing others' development
Where You'll Be WorkingThe role is based within a specialist inpatient CAMHS service supporting young people aged 12–18 with eating disorders and associated mental health needs such as anxiety, depression, OCD, or self-harm.
