We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer vacancy. This is an excellent opportunity to join the business at a professional level to support our IMS Sites.
What is involved
* Ensure all plant and machines are maintained and repaired to enable the provision of the service.
* Oversee the work of all contract and service engineers.
* Perform weekly tests to maintain sterilizers/washers in accordance with CfPP.
* Inform the National Maintenance Manager of any changes in machine cycle profile and maintenance needs.
* Ensure machinery is serviced before quarterly and annual validation.
* Facilitate scheduling of yearly validation of plant equipment.
* Ensure machinery and equipment meet the requirements of the Medical Devices Directive.
* Maintain all validation/calibration certification required for MDD registration.
* Maintain spare parts and tools store; advise on stock level replenishment.
* Carry out scheduled PPM weekly maintenance/inspection as per the plant maintenance schedule supporting the quality management system.
* Participate in an on-call rota.
* Travel to other sites within the Group may be required.
* Contribute as an active member of the sterile processing team, supporting innovation, continuous improvement, and best practices.
* Participate in staff development and training initiatives.
* Engage in the Synergy Health Performance Management System.
Required Experience
* Apprentice trained engineer or equivalent qualification.
* At least 2 years of engineering experience within facilities or manufacturing.
* Mechanical or electrical training/qualification.
* Full UK driving license with a maximum of 3 points.
