Network Operations Specialist (Previous Relevant Experience is Required), Milton Keynes
This role is with Telent, where you'll be part of our Engineering Team, driving innovation and supporting critical infrastructure. The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician will provide administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incidents are resolved efficiently and KPIs are met. The position involves working on a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.
Responsibilities:
1. Handle incoming calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
2. Create network incident tickets from customer reports.
3. Action Service Requests.
4. Allocate and dispatch tickets to support teams and service providers.
5. Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
6. Coordinate traffic management with providers and regional teams.
7. Communicate with customers about network incidents.
8. Coordinate with utility companies regarding power-related network issues.
Who You Are:
Experienced in supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, preferably within a NOC environment.
Key Requirements:
* Experience in 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
* Strong communication skills to liaise across all levels of seniority.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
