The Role
* Receive and enter customer orders onto the MRP system.
* Review order confirmations and verify accuracy within 48 hours of order entry and notify customer.
* Keep clients informed about order progress and status.
* Take appropriate action to maximise punctuality and prevent delays.
* Handle all order amendments, whether requested by the customer or company and communicate the status to all parties involved.
* Work with Planning and Sales to determine inventory management plans for customers.
* Respond and assist on all supply chain related issues.
* Receive and manage customer complaints and enter into the database.
* Liaise with Sales Managers to bring complaints to a close and complete the administration instructions accordingly.
* Effectively escalate any issues to supervisors or senior managers where appropriate.
* Maintain customer records and master data. Ensure its accuracy on a consistent basis.
* Identify and proactively manage your training needs.
* Provide cover to co-workers on holiday or sickness leave.
